The "Divas by design" challenge blog caught my attention when I read Linda´s last blog posts... she made such a stunning handbag charm!
I´d like to participate in this week´s challenge "Anything but a card" with this small notebook - my 1st notebook ever:

Little Improvement

I wasn´t happy with the pictures I made from my last sticky note booklet - I had to do it quickly, because otherwise I would have missed the deadline of the challenge (it was near midnight and challenge ended 6 a.m.)  - but the colors are not right because of the "light-bulb-light" from my table lamp ... so I made new pics in daylight - much better!!!

Invitation Pouch

I want to hand an invitation over ... so I made a pouch for it...

"E" ist for "Einladung", which means "invitation" in German. 

I´m infected with the calligraphy virus since last week - and so I´ll try to incorporate some handwriting and "artsy initials" in my future projects....

... a little spray of Glimmer Mist suits every piece, don´t you agree?!

... and always style the back pretty, too! ;-)

PS: Just in case you´re wondering: the pouch leans against an old wooden stamp from India ( used for stamping on fabric in former times)

Friends... continuation

Thanks a lot for all your very nice comments on my "friends" card !! I enjoyed reading them very much!!

Today I´ve a little continuation ... I gave this card to my sister-in-law, who is a very sweet person! 

I added some facial care sachets and wondered what kind of envelope I should make... I decided to take a simple paperbag for snacks as base and stamped some vintage style stamps by Prima on it:

Then I put my card and treats inside and closed it ...

... with a huge jeweled brad by Heidi Swapp:

This pretty tissue paper rose was a handmade gift from LINDA - THANK YOU again! 

Last week I ordered 2 "handmade/created by" stamps, because I wanted such stamps for a long time time now. Believe it or not - 2 days later I flipped through my (very) old "stamp stash" and found this stamp - I love it - and did not know, that I had it! It was part of a stamp set, so perhaps that´s the reason I did not pay any particular attention to it. 

("Handgemacht von" is German for "handmade by")

So hear my advice: go through your old stash from time to time!!

Bon Appétit

Even though I´m not good at using sketches I tried my hands on this weeks Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge... I ´m on diet right now but  had a piece of very yummy marzipan - filled with plum jam and covered with chocolate - on my desk. I thought the best way to get rid of it, is NOT to eat it, but to use it for a card I´ll need on Saturday for friends...

I used the WMS Vintage Labels 18 stamp set which matches perfectly with the Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Eighteen and the WMS Victorian Frippery stamp set - both are gorgeous!
