Fresh Breeze

These blue and green pastel shades remind me of a fresh breeze on a slightly chilly morning in spring, don´t you agree?!

YES, I´ve been crafty again and made a new sticky notes booklet - here´s my new baby :-)

I found these huge diamonds in the deco section of a local florist supply shop - OF COURSE I HAD to buy them :-) Aren´t they gorgeous!

This is my entry for the current CR84FN Color Challenge...

Ros pointed me to this week´s challenge at the City Crafter Challenge Blog by her stunningly beautiful creation... the theme is A Rose is a Rose!

 

I don´t know if I can call my fabric flower a "rose", but I have an ace up my sleeve: there are roses on the designer paper!

Oh, now I even found a 4th challenge for my project: Divas by design "Fabulous Flourishes"... I guess the inside of my booklet qualifies...

Little Improvement

I wasn´t happy with the pictures I made from my last sticky note booklet - I had to do it quickly, because otherwise I would have missed the deadline of the challenge (it was near midnight and challenge ended 6 a.m.)  - but the colors are not right because of the "light-bulb-light" from my table lamp ... so I made new pics in daylight - much better!!!

Metal Steampunk

Valerie introduced me through her blog post to this interesting challenge at Make My Monday ... Metal Steampunk!

One of my "babies" (= sticky-notes-booklets) fits into this challenge: I wanted to make a masculine one - so I chose black for the cover and heat embossed the clock face and the other circles in a decent hue of gold and added some parts of old clocks I bought months ago at a flea market... pretty vintage!

SPRING...

 

… has finally reached the middle of Europe, too!

So, may I introduce you to our big apricot tree: 

 It was the only tree we could rescue while building our house… it is very old and taller than the house now…

This tree makes me happy in spring, when it is in full bloom and in summer, when the fruits ripen.

So, how did I get inspired by this beauty?!
